30-Day Content Calendar

Plan ahead so you show up consistently without creating from panic — four content pillars, rotated across the month.

Why this matters

Does opening Instagram to post something feel like homework you forgot to do? You're not alone, and it's not because you lack ideas — it's because you're starting from zero every single time instead of from a plan. Most of us either panic-post something boring just to show up, or skip the day entirely and feel guilty about it. Neither fixes the real problem: you need a small rotation of content types you can always fall back on, so "what do I post today" is never a scary question again.

  • Educate — teach one thing your customer doesn't know yet
  • Engage — give people a reason to comment, not just scroll
  • Inspire — show the human behind the business
  • Promote — ask for the sale, clearly, without apologizing

How to use this guide

  1. 1

Read through all four content pillars below first.

  2. 2

    Open the free month-at-a-glance planner.

  3. 3

Assign one pillar to each day you post — Monday could always be Educate, Wednesday always Engage, and so on.

  4. 4

Fill in just this week. You don't need all 30 days done today.

Tap each one to open it — start with the one that sounds most like you.

Pillar 1

Educate

teach one thing your customer doesn't know yet

This is the easiest pillar to always have an idea for, because you already know things your customers don't — a tip, a mistake to avoid, how something is made, a myth you keep hearing.

Score 1

You only post when you have something to sell — so on the days you don't, you go quiet.

Score 5

You always have a "teach something" post ready, because you keep a running list of questions customers ask you.

Try this: Write down the last 3 questions a customer asked before buying. Each one is a ready-made post.

Pillar 2

Engage

give people a reason to comment, not just scroll

Posts that ask something — a poll, a "this or that," a genuine question — get more comments, and more comments means more people see your post. This is the pillar most of us skip because it feels less "productive" than posting a product photo.

Score 1

Every post is a monologue — you talk, and no one's actually invited to respond.

Score 5

At least once a week, you ask a real question and reply to every single comment.

Try this: This week, post one question you're genuinely curious about — not a sales question, a real one.

Pillar 3

Inspire

show the human behind the business, not just the product

People don't just buy what you sell — they buy why you started, and who you are. A behind-the-scenes moment, a customer's story (with permission), or your own journey builds more trust than another product photo ever will.

Score 1

Your feed is all product shots — no faces, no story, no you.

Score 5

At least once a week, people see a real moment: you working, a happy customer, a small win.

Try this: Post one photo of yourself working this week, even if it feels awkward. It's usually the post people remember most.

Pillar 4

Promote

ask for the sale, clearly, without apologizing for it

This is allowed to be a smaller slice of the month, not the whole thing — but it still needs to show up clearly, without being buried under a caption that never actually says "buy this."

Score 1

You mention your product so gently that no one realizes it's actually for sale.

Score 5

At least once a week, you post a clear, confident "here's how to order" — no apologizing for it.

Try this: Write one caption this week that ends with the actual next step: message, link, or "DM me to order."

How the planner works

  • Assign one pillar per day you post — repeat the same pattern across all 4 weeks.
  • Fill in just the topic for each day, not the whole caption.
  • Leave a few days blank — flexibility beats a rigid plan you'll abandon by week two.

Next step

Fill in just this week. Four days, one pillar each — that's the whole plan. You can always add the rest once this week actually happens. #AskNikita
